Welcome to Live at Heart 2011

Örebro City 16-17 September

The sign up form for playing on LAH is now available in english here.

With aprox. 150 concerts in 12 venues in two days, Live at Heart was the biggest music festival in Sweden last year. This time around we'll try to make it even better, together with you.

Live at Heart is city festival, arranged at existing venues; bars, restaurants, hotel lobbys etc. No tents, no filthy festival toilets, only music! After an evening with great music, you can sleep calmly at one of our cooperating hotels.

Live at Heart is not only Swedens biggest music festival, it's also the biggest showcase in northen Europe. Located in the middle of Sweden, between Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki - Live at Heart offers a place where artists can meet audiences and network with people from the music industry.

The festival offers music experiences of the highest quality from most musical genres, from Swedish folk music, through jazz, blues and punk rock, to pop, rock and heavy metal. All the venues are quite small and the music is experienced as it should be, close to the artist.

Tickets are purchased online at Ticnet, in Örebro at Örebrokompaniet or at the festival office.

F.A.Q.

I have purchased a ticket online, is it valid for entrance?

No, the ticket needs to be exchanged for a festival wrist band. This can be done at the festival office from the 14th of september and forward.

Am I guaranteed entrance for all the concerts?

No, all the venues must follow their own maximum capacity. To be garatueed entrance, be on time. You can also buy our platinum wrist band, which gives you a quicker entrance. Still, if its full, its full.

Can I buy a one day ticket?

Nope, not at present time.

How long are the concerts?

All the shows start on the hour, every hour. They lasts for, at longest, 40 minutes. After 20 minutes change over, next concert starts.

Is there an age limit for the festival?

Yes, and no. Some of the bars, pubs and restaurants have an age limit. Thus it's usually 18 years. But we will have venues with no alcohol, and these have no limits. You can buy a youth wrist band at a discount, which grants entrance to these venues.

Our band wants to play!

From the 1st of March you can apply for the festival. This is done right here on the website. When approved, you'll recieve a login for your own artist page. It's crucial that you keep your page updated, to ensure a big audience and people from the music industry at your show.

We played last year, can we play again?

Of course!

Do we get payed?

We pay for the trip and sometimes for housing, if travelling long. Live at Heart should be seen as a showcase, and an opportunity to network with people from the Swedish music industry. Anyway, you'll increase your fan base in and in the vicinity of Örebro. Lots of artist appearing at the festival have returned to Örebro for commersial shows.

Do we only play once?

You're free to play several times at the festival. Once again, this being a showcase, it's important to show yourselves off for as many people as possible. There were many examples from last year with artists playing three, four times, and every time they double or triple their audience.
